The Irish Sea Rim will lead and engage with a series of interconnected projects and activities, designed around cross-cutting themes linked to the ISR50 Spherical Economy strategic vision (Section 2) and Operational Framework (Section 22). Strategic themes include maritime and green shipping corridors, business connectivity, science and technology, transport, sport, and regenerative tourism, and are underpinned by a central priority of regional rebalancing and connected prosperity.
The exact sequencing of projects will be determined in consultation with key stakeholders, and contingent upon funding and strategic prioritisation. Key projects in planning include:
PARTNERSHIPS AND ENGAGEMENT
- Irish Sea Rim launch and stakeholder engagement roadshow

- Develop Local Innovation Partnerships Fund projects in partnership with UKRI and regional leads
